Who is Cobra Tate?

In case you live under a rock and never heard about this gentleman, let me introduce you to him:

Andrew Tate is World champion kickboxer, self-made multimilioner, social media superstar, entrepreneur and much more. Cobra Tate describes his own path in these words: “I was broke for a long time. I made my first million when I was say 27 and then I had 100 million by the time I was 32 and then I became a trillionaire quite recently.” I'm sure this draws your attention to him.

Meet the Tate Family - Andrew's childhood

Andrew was born in 1986, in the U.S. but he grew up in England, therefore he holds British and American citizenship. His childhood was very interesting. Living with a father, Emory Tate who was a successful chess player, surrounded by highly unusual and, as he likes to say, weird people, gave him a rather different perspective of life. In early childhood Andrew learned to play chess and even was a state champion at age 5, in the under 16 category. He was the youngest ever to win.

Andrew Tate is the eldest child in the family, his brother Tristan Tate is following Andrew`s path, but their sister Janine is a lawyer and keeps her personal life to herself.

Andrew`s journey to success

Tate started kickboxing at age 16 because he was “perpetually bored”, while he was working at a fish market. His devotion and effort brought to him next titles in this area:

  • 2014 Enfusion Live World Champion - 90kg
  • 2013 ISKA World Full-Contact Light Cruiserweight Champion - 84.6kg
  • 2012 Enfusion Trial of the Gladiators Tournament Runner-Up
  • 2011 ISKA World Full Contact Light Heavyweight Champion - 84.5kg
  • 2009 IKF British Cruiserweight Champion - 84.5kg
  • 2009 ISKA English Full-Contact Cruiserweight Champion

As Andrew likes to say he became “rich rich” after retiring from a kickboxing career. All his wealth came from his skills as a competitive businessman.

His first million was a result of a webcam business. At its peak, he had 75 girls working for him in 4 locations. The models took calls from fans, but sometimes customers could ask for a private show and pay “at their own risk”. All this had negative publicity in the U.K. and after a couple of years Tate brothers moved to Romania.

Andrew truly conquered social media, on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Twitter he had an army of fans. Before being banned his videos racked up billions of views on TikTok and Instagram. Recently he became the most googled man.

At the moment, Andrew’s primary source of income is his online business, Hustler’s University, which the controversial influencer runs with his brother, Tristan. For those who are unaware, Hustler’s University is an online program that sells a range of courses on making money, getting with women, and connecting with other businessmen. Andrew and Tristan bought a team of multi-millionaires to speak the truth of their success and teach others how to make money and become successful. The monthly fee for the course is $49, and Tate said the course has over 80,000 members.

Andrew Tate and his controversies

Tate`s first negative attention happened back in 2016 when he was a Big Brother contestant. He was removed from the show because of a video that appeared to show him attacking a woman. Since then, he is well known to the world for his misogynistic views. In 2017 Andrew Tarte was suspended from Twitter for saying women “bear responsibility” for being sexually asaulted.

Andrew attracted more criticism when he said that it was acceptable for a man to have multiple partners, but claimed that privilege can not be applied to a woman. “Read the Bible, every single man had multiple wives, not a single woman had multiple husbands. It’s against the will of God — it’s disgusting.” Andrew Tate. In late August, this phenomenon known as Andrew Tate was banned from almost every major social media. Of course it doesn't mean his voice can`t be heard anymore, or that his popularity is decreasing. Although the impact of social media bans can be destructive, the rise of Web3 and democratizing social media, the concept of decentralization,  could be a twist for Andrew`s fate as an influencer.
